A dash of whimsy

These whimsical drops were created from copper sheet and vitreous enamel (powdered glass) and sterling silver findings. The details are painted by hand and finished using various enameling techniques. This pair was inspired by daydreams, the little leaves are a deep teal to light lush green and the background is adorned with hints of silver. The perfect mix of earth and whimsy made for daily wear.

Size (top of ear wire to end of dangle x width): 5.3 x 2.8 cm 

Each element has been sawed, hammered and shaped using traditional metalsmithing techniques. The glass is sifted on and fired with a torch to over 700 degrees. This pair is counter enamelled on the back which takes on an earthier oxidised(darker) appearance due to the nature of torch firing. 

All pieces are cleaned and polished prior to shipping. All items are packaged in a hand painted box which ships inside a larger padded box. Packaging is as earth friendly as possible without compromising on safe delivery.
