Inspired by my orchid obsession! This piece is perfectly imperfect and a mix of both cloisonné and enamel paints.
Each element has been sawed, hammered and shaped using traditional metalsmithing techniques.
The design is made of fine silver wire and many layers of glass on a base of copper. The resulting pendant is set in fine and sterling silver. A lot of cloisonne is done on a base of silver over copper but I chose to keep the raw earthiness of the copper in this piece which is visable through the transparent background glass.
The reverse details on this setting are stamped by hand from Sterling silver sheet.
All findings are Sterling silver and the chain is finished with a lobster clasp.

All pieces are cleaned and polished prior to shipping. All items are packaged in a hand painted box which ships inside a larger padded box. Packaging is as earth friendly as possible without compromising on safe delivery.
